Not the most challenging thought provoking photo, but today was time just for me and my husband - so a quick snapshot will have to do. :)

Merano, Italy.

Today we were in Merano, Italy (weekend trip), where we spend the majority of the day in this beautiful botanical garden.

Couldn't post just one photo.

Here are just a few of many photos from a weekend trip to Italy. Beautiful place - can definitely recommend it if you are ever in the area.

Coca-Cola.

136/365

As we were at the monastery there was this monk sitting outside, so peacefully. The cool thing, which unfortunately you can't see in this picture is that he was drinking a Coca-Cola with a straw out of a glass bottle.

I asked him if I could take his picture {which was a big step out of my comfort zone - thanks for the push from my husband}, he agreed but then put the coke bottle behind him. Sadly I was too nervous to tell him I wanted the picture with the coke. It was such an interesting visual of a mix of worlds.

Oh well. Hopefully in the future when I am in a similar situation {not necessarily with a monk & a coke} where I want to ask a stranger for something then I'll remember the disappointment of missing this shot and will take the next step out of my {hopefully} expanding comfort zone.

Constructive criticism always welcome!
