Button - "Informative"

71/365

Similar to the last button photograph -  {skipping over the long details} this is an assignment were we had to create an "informative" photograph, which could be used possibly for a catalogue.

Thoughts?

Button. "Sachlich - Emotive."

69/365

For this assignment {skipping over long descriptive regulations} we had to choose a small object and create a photo that was ascetic and emotional. So here is mine. A button.

One of the upcoming assignments due next weekend. Interested to see what the critic will be.

One of the main objectives was to make the two objects look flat. Look pretty flat to me...what do you think?

Fountain.

63/365

Bonn, Germany.

This is an interesting fountain located at the end of Friedrichstraße; my favorite street in Bonn {check out 57/365}. The strange thing about this fountain is that it is level with the street.

Viktualienmarkt: Munich, Germany

My husband and I decided to venture into the city to day and do a bit of wandering around. These pictures are from Viktualienmarkt in the center of Munich, one of my favorite areas in the city.

Valentine's Day

60/365

In honor of Valentine's Day I spent a bit of time today on my lunch break walking around downtown Munich looking for signs of love.

This holiday isn't as popular and wide spread here in Germany as it is in the US. But I got lucky and in my search I found several of these spread out in the street.

Love is in the air...and on the ground.

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

Restaurant & Street Light

59/365

A night in Bonn, Germany.

Here are some shots from around downtown.

First shot: Bon(n)gout. This is a restaurant and would absolutely recommend going there if you are ever in the city. Great brunch and fantastic meals through out the day.  http://bonngout.com/

Second shot: street light at Münsterplatz, but these beautiful lights are through out downtown.

Bonn, Germany - Favorite Street

57/365

Bonn, the former capital, is a small city located in the west of Germany. I lived in this city for eight years, and work has brought me here this week, and it is great to be back.

This picture below is a street located in the pedestrian zone and in my opinion the prettiest street in Bonn. If you are ever visiting the city, take the time to stroll down it, soak up the flair and window shop at all the beautiful boutiques.

More pictures over the next days of the city. Enjoy!

Have you ever visited Germany? Have you been to Bonn?

Tram Lines & Street Lights

49/365

As I was arriving home tonight and got off of the tram, this is what I saw. I was really fasinated by the heavy fog and all the lines. Unfortunately I feel the fog didn't come out on the photography as much as I had hoped.

Anyone know how I could pull more fog out of the picture - so it's more visible?
