Perspective.

Week 21 of 52.

Perfect Timing is a weekly photography project by two friends who met in college, became roommates and have been close ever since. We share a love for languages and travel, and although we're from the same southern state, we now live on different continents, balancing a demanding work life with a private life. We both agree that everything happens for a reason, whether we see these moments as positive or negative at the time, propelling us ahead or slowing us down. We hope you will join us each week, as we share little moments of Perfect Timing with you.

Just a little fun with macro this week. Really enjoy making the time, even if it's only 5 to 10 minutes to try and look at an object from a new perspective.

I knew from the moment we met that it'd be a lasting friendship. Kindred spirits. It was as if we had always known each other. Like family. My dear friend Madalena of my personal coffee break. When she's not busy running her own company, she is out exploring new places, jogging or enjoying a great cup of joe. I am sure you will adore her as much as I do. Please take a moment to check out her "Perfect Timing" photo from this week: "growing pains”.

Oh, you know...it's just the simple ceiling of a museum in Vienna. ;)

Something about flowers, when they start to lose their luster...somehow there is something still elegant about them.

Several weeks ago I had a meeting in this building. My first time there and I was amazed when I walked through the front door and saw this magnificent staircase with a beautiful domed skylight. I was so impressed by this old, yet beautiful building that I had to go back last week and take a few photos. Even though my schedule was so hectic the idea of trying to squeeze in any time to leave the office to shoot this stressed me, but I am so glad that I took the time anyway. Unfortunately I couldn't capture the feeling of awe you get when actually standing there, but nonetheless, it was worth the time - here it is.
