Lighting.

Week 26 of 52.

Perfect Timing is a weekly photography project by two friends who met in college, became roommates and have been close ever since. We share a love for languages and travel, and although we're from the same southern state, we now live on different continents, balancing a demanding work life with a private life. We both agree that everything happens for a reason, whether we see these moments as positive or negative at the time, propelling us ahead or slowing us down. We hope you will join us each week, as we share little moments of Perfect Timing with you.

Playing around with light. Funny how such a seemingly small thing can make or break a photo.

For this particular photo their is was no perfect timing, and after hours of shifting 3 different lights only a millimeter back or forward, left or right, I still couldn't achieve the lighting I needed to (for one of my projects at school), but still enjoyed the process. Looking forward to the future projects and more experiments with light!

Have tried experimenting with lighting?

I knew from the moment we met that it'd be a lasting friendship. Kindred spirits. It was as if we had always known each other. Like family. My dear friend Madalena of my personal coffee break. When she's not busy running her own company, she is out exploring new places, jogging or enjoying a great cup of joe. I am sure you will adore her as much as I do. Please take a moment to check out her "Perfect Timing" photo from this week: "Hustlin'”.

On the road quite a bit lately. Austria for photography classes, then 6 different German cities this week. As hectic as it can be sometimes, packing, unpacking...trains, train strikes, in the car, traffic...we just have to make the most of it, make the best of it. Even when it is stressful, life is still a precious thing. Now the weekend is almost here, and time to relax. :)

I knew from the moment we met that it'd be a lasting friendship. Kindred spirits. It was as if we had always known each other. Like family. My dear friend Madalena of my personal coffee break. Riding in the car with my family and caught in the moment by the simplicity of some things in life. It can be a beautiful thing.

On a walk today with my family. Love to see that spring is here!
