Week 16 of 52.
Perfect Timing is a weekly photography project by two friends who met in college, became roommates and have been close ever since. We share a love for languages and travel, and although we're from the same southern state, we now live on different continents, balancing a demanding work life with a private life. We both agree that everything happens for a reason, whether we see these moments as positive or negative at the time, propelling us ahead or slowing us down. We hope you will join us each week, as we share little moments of Perfect Timing with you.
This past weekend was the first weekend of the year where my husband & I got to spend some quality time together - just the two of us. Our schedules lately have been even more tight and stressful than normal so this weekend was really perfect timing.
We are quite a busy family and don't actually get to see one another daily. So these moments are for us precious and we do everything we can to make the most of it and soak up every second.
Saturday was a date day...and night - movies, dinner, cocktails....and Sunday we spent hiking in the Alps. Here is just a taste of the breathtaking landscape.
I knew from the moment we met that it'd be a lasting friendship. Kindred spirits. It was as if we had always known each other. Like family. My dear friend Madalena of my personal coffee break. When she's not busy running her own company, she is out exploring new places, jogging or enjoying a great cup of joe. I am sure you will adore her as much as I do. Please take a moment to check out her "Perfect Timing" photo from this week: "spiritual steps”.
