Tram Lines & Street Lights

49/365

As I was arriving home tonight and got off of the tram, this is what I saw. I was really fasinated by the heavy fog and all the lines. Unfortunately I feel the fog didn't come out on the photography as much as I had hoped.

Anyone know how I could pull more fog out of the picture - so it's more visible?

    Hi there,

Just looking at your picture I would simply suggest a tripod, so you can get longer exposure to grab more light (there are some very cool small and portable ones).

Hi John, thanks for the feedback! I did use a tripod. :( I was a bit nervous about the trams that kept coming. As soon as I was set up one would come and I had to get out of the road. But you are absolutely right; I should have been a bit more patient and played around with the time. Next time we have a foggy night I’ll definitely do that! And thanks for the tips on the travel tripods!
